Navigating the intersection of mental health and the legal system requires a very specialized set of clinical and assessment skills. Dr. Bauer has completed additional training in the area of forensic psychology, with an emphasis on developmental issues.  Dr. Bauer provides consultation to attorneys regarding mental health issues in forensic cases and has conducted numerous trainings on child and adolescent development and personality to local and national legal entities.

Dr. Bauer has qualified as an expert witness and testified in Federal, Civil, Criminal and Juvenile Courts in Louisiana and Washington State.
